Thursday Doors, February 18

Today, as promised, multiple sturdy long-lived doors of Roma’s Trastevere. It felt like hitting door heaven. These doors have seen plenty.

    1. Sherry Lynn, thank you for your opinions. Post editing is something I’m still cautious of. I don’t like to change the world around me. I’m not god. Also, I prefer to leave everything, including me, a bit imperfect. You know, so that you can improve.

  1. Oh my – door heaven, indeed!! hmmm – where to start? I think my favourite has to the skinny little door just before the green door with the vines. It is a marvellous little doorway wrapped in decay around it – something for which Rome is so famous!

  2. Such beautiful colours. It’s obvious from the shots that you really enjoyed taking these! And they tell a tiny tale of the city. Lovely collection Manja. And the geek in me was smiling from the start because the first house number is 42! 🙂

    1. Thank you, Kerry, for lovely words and the follow. This is probably my favourite part of Rome. It was a rare occasion that I was completely alone, meaning no dog and all, no matter how much I love him. So yes, I had a great time. And I’m a big fan of 42 as well. 🙂

      1. Haha! I know what you mean. I was out taking photos locally, on my own, yesterday and the only thing anyone said to me was, “Where’s your dog?” 😀
