This door will close now. It’s Thursday, it figures.

I had the idea of going through this blog and drawing attention to a few most memorable posts for the final chapter, but I shan’t. It’s the totality that matters. Every single sentence, image, sensation has had equal merit. This has been my first blog and this it will remain for all times.

My next one, which is here, has a different theme. It is even more like a book. Perhaps it shows the direction to take. As if I hadn’t known before.

Thank you, WordPress community and visitors from beyond, for every single little visit, like and comment. Another door has opened. No reason why we wouldn’t continue.

This is my last post. Goodbye from here and ben trovati.

If there is any follower left who isn’t yet aware of my new blog, please let’s move over here for more moments to spare, new time to waste and more positive presence (I’ve been called thus by a blogger, thank you, Nick).

Thursday Doors, May 26

And so I thought to myself: I’ve got two blogs now, I get to have two entries.😉

Another reason for this second entry is that today celebrates my friend who took these photos in Sovana (first two photos) and Pitigliano during his last visit.

I invite you to view two posts on my new blog:

What is certain is that there will be no more new Thursday Doors on this blog, but the treasure-chest of past entries is here to stay and it can be viewed here.

For all who has not made the transition to my new blog yet, here is a teaser from Morocco, taken by my uncle with his Nokia phone of all things.

This blog will soon not self-destruct, rather come full circle and lay silent, but hopefully not dusty.

Come see the dunes and more over here:

Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge: Tail-tongued

It’s been a while since I joined any of Cee’s challenges and it’s time to amend this. I guess I can’t resist a tail and a tongue.

Thursday Doors, May 19

In the door heaven that is Roma doors are often bigger than it is proper, no doubt to make us feel lesser. Didn’t work.

As we were strolling from the Vatican via Piazza Navona towards Fontana di Trevi, each next door appeared bigger than the last. In such a case it’s great to have a model or two on stand-by.

But it was not until I was about to enter the Pantheon that it hit me: Behold! I am passing through the King of Doors. I wonder if I’ll come out alive.

MM 3-6: Monochrome Macro Madness

I blame it on the blogger who stopped to shoot a barn and then got side-tracked with macro shots. I’m on to you, just a moment…

The same happened to me yesterday in Terme Saturnia. There were water droplets. Nobody ever warned me of water droplets in connection with the flower button.

Here is the unassuming original.

And here are my droplets.

I’m very pleased with how this one turned out.

And yes, it was you, Mrs. Gray.🙂 Macro addiction is real! (As is Marco addiction, but this is another matter.)
