This little tour of Roma starts in Monteverde, continues through Trastevere, crosses the Tevere via one bridge, goes along bird-stained Lungotevere and crosses the river again via the neighbouring bridge to return to Trastevere. Might be smoggy but views were effective as always. A lovely afternoon. And I didn’t even buy a single book in two English bookshops.
