• About me is what this blog is all about. Go read that.
• It’s like editing a newspaper, without Maja Licul to master the technical side and without Vida P. to give me tasks and without a minister or two to take care of visibility. There is just the content. Sorry ’bout that. (Do you know what Slovenians say when introducing themselves? “Excuse me, I’m a Slovenian.”)

So much of us is out there and so few of anybody cares.

• I might be one of the few bloggers who don’t seem to be about community. Don’t get me wrong: I LOVE to be read and viewed, and enjoy your comments and likes, and I reply too, but I don’t wish to conform in order to get noticed more or liked more.
• In a way my blog is my scrapbook: here I collect things that I wish to see when I browse back: quotes, songs, poems, images stored to remember the moments when they were taken. And when I write, I write about what really happened.
• If anybody else likes what I like, so much for the better.
• I have had this blog for two years now (true for April 2016) and to me it’s a priceless document of two of the three best years of my life, spent in a new country with my new amore and our bestia.
• Wherever it says MM, own words or own translation, it means me. The meaning of other acronyms, all family and friends, available on request. ADD-IT (February 2016): I’m starting to use the watermark signature mmm on my images.
• If you use my stuff without telling me about it, the worst possible thing will happen to you when you least expect it.
• Manja Mexi Movie now on facebook too (what?)

• The book list is compiled by your recommendations and is always hungry for new ones. Please, click to see if your favourite is already on it! And if not, amend in the comments. Thank you!
• The movie list belongs to my youth (lately I watch very few movies, if at all).
• The song list was put together for my first visit in Italy so that we’ll always have the soundtrack of our first meeting. There is a Slovenian, ex-Yugoslav, Italian and worldwide section.
