Thursday Doors, February 25

Today I give you the unnecessarymost door in the world.

One would think that in a countryside like this there can’t be much happening doorwise, right?

And yet first there comes a gate that is not all that difficult to circumnavigate.

Parallel to this dirt track runs the railway. And what separates the two is this:

A heavily locked door cast into a fierce wall. Keeping the train away from the flowers.

Good-bye, door, but if you think you’re fooling anybody you need therapy.

    1. I guess so, Norm. Italians are big on doors and gates and private property, where I’m a child of socialism and public woods, fields, paths, everything. I find it intimidating to trespass, and I have been denied approach on a few occasions (with relatively mild-mannered tones).
