Today just one door of one church. I’m not religious but here in Italy they tend to wink at me.
When I was first passing through this little town of San Martino sul Fiora, I yelled STOP! Or, better yet, since I was driving myself, I swerved to the right and was catapulted out to take a few snaps. We returned later, dressed to match, to make sure it was real. And then we saw the wink from the doorway.

This is such a cozy looking place and I don’t usually think churches achieve that! I love the warmth of it all.

Thank you, Claudia. In Italy churches achieve whatever one wishes, even without entering. 🙂 I was in France but was tired of them after a week.

This is a beautiful little church. I’m not sure it’s actually little, but it has that appearance. The doors are beautiful.

Oh Dan, here it can be a huge cathedral or something smaller like this, but in either case they deliver.

What a handsome, inviting church! A great find and the doors live up to the rest of the building.

Thank you, Janet! It is close to Saturnia spa and Pitigliano. Makes a good triple bill. 🙂
