Inspiration comes in different forms, sometimes it’s people, other times nature (I realise that people should be filed under nature as well but somehow aren’t). Recently I find myself – an agnostic-atheist grown up socialistically – drawn by churches of all things. They are nothing if not majestic and attractive, pulling me closer like a magnet. Closer but not in.
This one was the latest, in Rijeka, Croatia. I find it telling that I don’t know what kind of church it was and that for me it is irrelevant. And yet the fact that in my hometown, Ljubljana, the first ever mosque is about to be built feels right somehow.
In this case I was inspired to play with my camera again a bit, after a week of idling and booze and nude beach. Nuff said.
